How to find us
By car
The fastest way is via the motorway junction Bochum/Witten, where the motorways A43 and A44 meet. Simply take the exit for Bochum-Querenburg and follow the signs for “Ruhr-Universität”. Get off from Universitätsstraße at "Ruhr-Universität West" and follow the signs to the Medicine Buildings until you reach "M-Nordstraße". The MPI is located in the building "Vita Campus" (VC). The parking area is in front of the building. Please inform us before your visit so that we can give you access to the parking area.
By public transport
By plane please fly to either Düsseldorf or Dortmund airport and take a local train from there to Bochum main station (Hbf).
From Bochum Hbf take the metro U35 with direction Ruhr-Universität/Hustadt and get off at "Ruhr-Universität". From here it is a 5 minutes walk.
