Guest Program at the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy
The Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP) offers a limited number of fellowships for visiting junior scientists at the graduate and the postdoctoral level:
Depending on your academic level, the following options are offered:
An orientation fellowship gives international university graduates with an academic degree the opportunity to spend a transitional qualification phase of up to 6 months at MPI-SP and become familiar with the institute and its research scopes and methods.
Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers can be awarded for a maximum duration of 2 years for one or multiple research projects. These projects will follow the general research focus of MPI-SP.
Fellowships will be awarded to proposed candidates only. Only the faculty and research group leaders of MPI-SP are entitled to propose candidates to the grant committee.
Guests holding a fellowship by MPI-SP have to acquire private insurance covering health, accident, and personal liability insurance. Proof of existing insurance is mandatory for the disbursement of fellowships.
