Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy joins Dual Career Network Ruhr
The local alliance supports partners of academic staff who have taken up a new post in the Ruhr area in finding a new position themselves
Career paths in science can involve many uncertainties – especially since the next career step often goes hand in hand with a change of location. This makes it all the more crucial to support scientists and their partners in such situations.
The Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP) is pleased to announce that it is now a member of the Dual Career Network Ruhr (DCN Ruhr) and thus able to build on a broad network of 29 partners from science, business and administration when assisting partners of new, often international employees with their own job search. Ideally, at the end of the process there will be a triple benefit: MPI-SP gains a further professional for their team while simultaneously strengthening the Ruhr region as a science and business location, and most importantly of all, give two people the prospect of a career.
